Services

Sessions built around your sport, schedule, and goals.

Every appointment starts with listening. From there we add assessments, education, and hands-on care to unlock a plan that actually fits your life.

Orthopaedics & sports physiotherapy

Initial assessments at the Squamish Athletic Club identify the root cause of pain or injury and clarify your treatment plan. Follow-up visits blend:

  • Education, manual therapy, dry needling, and taping
  • Exercise prescription with progressive loading
  • Home programs and clinic-based coaching so you know exactly what to work on between visits

Dry Needling / IMS

Dry needling is a physiotherapy technique that involves inserting fine, sterile needles into trigger points or tight muscle bands to relieve pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.

It targets myofascial tension and stimulates natural recovery processes, offering effective treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. Sarah completed her AN-IMS certification in April 2024 and is trained to safely integrate this modality.

Climbing performance assessment

Available at the Squamish Athletic Club for climbers looking to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and imbalances.

  • Maximal strength measurements for fingers and shoulders
  • Technique assessment on the wall
  • Training recommendations tailored to your projects

Concussion rehabilitation

Sarah completed the Complete Concussion Management Course (CCMI) and supports you through the step-by-step recovery process. Assess symptoms, manage return-to-work or return-to-sport plans, and receive clear guidance between visits.

Strength & conditioning blocks

Periodized strength plans help you build resilience during off-season training or when returning from injury. Expect targeted loading for shoulders, fingers, lower body, and trunk to support whatever you’re projecting.

Running gait analysis

Video review, strength testing, and footwear discussion to keep you running pain-free. Sessions finish with drills and exercises you can integrate into your training right away.
